My client, based in Wellingborough are looking for 3 experienced Machine Operators due to continued expansion.
We have 3 positions available:
2 x MACHINE OPERATIVE - Night Shift, 22:00 - 06:00, Sunday to Thursday,
SALARY: £17.22 for weeks 1-12, £18.06 from week 13
1 x MACHINE OPERATIVE - Night Shift, 22:00 - 06:00, Sunday to Thursday,
SALARY: £16.62 for weeks 1-12, £17.44 from week 13
Both positions are 37.5 hours per week, on a 12 week Temp - Permanent, based Finedon Road Industrial Estate, Wellingborough.
Machine Operator Main Duties:
- Setting and operating the machine
- Working to customer specifications
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools
- Some repetitive lifting
- To work as part of a team, supporting and assisting others, flexible in different areas
Machine Operator Skills required:
- Must have previous machine operative experience (Setting & Operating a machine)
- A keen eye for detail
- Methodical approach to new tasks.
- Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Punctual and reliable, flexible approach to covering holidays and other shifts on short notice
- Can use Vernier calliper's and micrometre measuring equipment.
- Ability to complete administration accurately including use of good numeracy skills.
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience working within mechanical / engineering / manufacturing environment
