Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery using schematics and technical manuals to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components utilizing hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Disassemble, assemble, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision, ensuring all components meet safety standards.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex problems efficiently and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed service records, update maintenance logs, and ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks safely by following proper procedures and using appropriate equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic or similar role with a strong mechanical background.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures including engine repair, equipment repair, and routine servicing.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Valid certification or license relevant to motor mechanics is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for the right candidate.
