Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Production Operative on a temporary contract to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food production with mechanical knowledge and precision.
- Follow established HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures to ensure food safety at all stages of production.
- Assist in preparing ingredients, packaging, and labeling products according to specifications.
- Conduct routine quality checks, including basic math calculations for measurements and weights.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor production lines for efficiency, report any issues or malfunctions promptly, and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Record production data accurately, including quantities produced, times, and any deviations from standard procedures.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and HACCP protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience operating manufacturing equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Commitment to adhering to all health, safety, and food safety regulations throughout the shift.
