Branch Manager & Valuer/Lister
John Miller Estate Agents are seeking an ambitious, driven and results-focused individual to join our team as a Branch Manager & Valuer/Lister.

The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the branch, driving business growth, winning instructions, developing staff and delivering exceptional customer service across both sales and lettings.
Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead, motivate and develop team members, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
- Set individual and team targets and regularly monitor progress against agreed objectives.
- Conduct one-to-one meetings, performance reviews and staff development sessions.
- Provide coaching, training and support to help staff maximise their potential.
- Recruit, onboard and assist with the development of new team members.
- Conduct residential sales and lettings valuations.
- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals and local marketing.
- Convert valuations into instructions through professional presentations and strong negotiation skills.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share, instructions and branch profitability.
- Monitor branch performance and prepare reports for senior management.
- Ensure branch targets, revenue goals and KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Oversee sales progression and assist with resolving complex transactions where required.
- Ensure properties are marketed effectively across property portals, social media and other marketing channels.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, company procedures and industry regulations.
- Represent the company professionally within the local community and at networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Valuer/Lister, Senior Negotiator or similar role within estate agency.
- Proven track record of winning instructions and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience setting targets, managing performance and developing staff.
- Excellent valuation, negotiation and closing abilities.
- Commercially minded with a passion for growing a business.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and driven to succeed.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
- Multilingual skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
