Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Prepare a variety of food items and beverages, including coffee, tea, sandwiches, and snacks
- Serve orders efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and give correct change
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen spaces
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks to ensure supplies are well-stocked
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold health standards at all times
Skills
- Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene regulations
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and measurements
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Capable of multitasking across food preparation, customer service, and cleaning duties
