We are one of the biggest commercial Christmas Decorators in the North West, specializing in hotels and offices, with decorations ranging from simple garlands to 20ft trees and giant props. We’re now looking for a few extra team members to join us for another busy season!
This is a very hands-on role in a fast-paced environment. Equally, we have a laugh along the way and it’s a very informal workplace, so this is a great opportunity to be creative in a fun job while getting plenty of hours in a short period of time.
We are based in Farnworth, Bolton and a lot of time at client venues in Manchester city centre, so you must be able to easily commute to both locations.
You will join our team to:
· Lighting and decorating Christmas trees, garlands and wreaths
· Set-up decorations at client venues (eg. hotels and offices)
· Organising stock in the warehouse
· Pre-decorate in our warehouse
· Loading and unloading vans
· Lifting/moving heavy props
· Derig decorations at client venues in January
Training will be provided and shifts are available from September until mid-January.
The busiest period is the month of November, and then the first two weeks in January. You should be available to work as much as possible during these peak times. Shift times will vary but can be long hours during the peak times and typically we start very early during these peak times.
This position will require heavy lifting, including loading and unloading vans.
Most shifts will be Manchester based, but there may be some travel involved (eg. to and from Leeds).
A driving license and experience driving vans would be extremely beneficial, but not essential.
