The Role
As a Cargo Express Night Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods between customer sites, hubs, and depots. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining the overnight continuity of our logistics network, keeping the supply chain moving while most of the country sleeps.
Your main duties will include:
- Operating Class 1 vehicles to deliver and collect goods overnight.
- Conducting full vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and compliance records.
- Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy, and road-ready.
- Communicating effectively with the operations team during your shift.
What We’re Looking For
- Full Category C+E Licence (required)
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (required)
- Sound understanding of UK transport and road safety regulations
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently during night operations
- Clean driving record (up to six points considered)
