We are seeking an energetic and personable Bar Person to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and stocked appropriately
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age, ensuring compliance with local alcohol regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills, including handling payments and giving change
- Engage with guests to create a lively, friendly atmosphere while managing multiple orders efficiently
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food safety, serving procedures, and responsible alcohol service
Experience
- Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate, ( CPL Learning must be completed within 2 weeks )
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor to connect with diverse guests
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
