We are seeking a talented Multi-Skilled or Panel Beater to join our night shift team in Bridgend. This role is integral to ensuring vehicles are repaired and finished to the highest standard while maintaining a quick turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Panel Beater: Carrying out a wide range of repairs, no welding or jig experience required.
- Conduct quality checks at each stage of the repair process to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with estimators and other technicians to deliver accurate and timely repairs.
- Maintain and operate tools, equipment, and spray booths efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure cleanliness in the workplace.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a panel beater and painter in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of body repair techniques, materials, and tools.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Body Repair and Paint Operations is preferred but not essential if experience is extensive.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
