As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our close-knit team in the West End. You'll manage your own portfolio of residential and HMO properties, build strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and play a key role in a business that's built its reputation on service rather than volume.
This is a full-time, office-based role reporting directly to our Lettings Manager and would suit someone with previous property management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of their portfolio.
You'll be trusted to manage your own portfolio from day one, building long-term relationships with landlords while delivering a high level of service to tenants. We're looking for someone who is equally happy supporting their colleagues, sharing knowledge and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of residential and HMO properties
- Liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs
- Organising compliance requirements including Gas Safety, EICRs, PAT testing and HMO obligations
- Carrying out property inspections and reporting findings
- Managing tenancy changes and move-outs
- Handling day-to-day enquiries and problem solving
- Maintaining accurate property records and systems
- Supporting colleagues across the department and working collaboratively to ensure an excellent service for landlords and tenants
Requirements
- Knowledge of Scottish lettings legislation
- Previous property management experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to independently prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is happy to help others and contributes positively to the office culture.
Desirable
- ARLA qualification (or working towards)
- Experience managing HMO properties
