Job Summary:
Due to retirement, Mark’s Cotswold Bakery are looking for a replacement driver to join our growing team.
We are small to medium expanding company, started by husband and wife Mark and Sharn, which has grown to 30 employees in just 7 years. The bakery delivers handmade bread from Stroud to Stratford and Oxford and everywhere in between, utilising eight vans.
This role means you would learn to identify the bread to pick and crate for each individual business order, load on your van in prearranged drop-off route order. You will be the face of Mark’s Cotswold Bakery when you are out delivering and talking to your customers.
Uniform is provided. The start rate is £12.71 per hour. Start time 4:30am finishing 10:00-10:30am depending on the day of week. This roll is for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and is for our Cirencester route.

Duties:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers
- Load and unload bread from the delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Follow delivery pre ordered schedules and routes efficiently
- Wash van and unload bread crates on return to the bakery
- Complete necessary paperwork and van check accurately
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence with no penalty points
- Commercial driving experience not necessary
- A team player with good communication skills
- Capable of lifting and carrying bread crates from the bakery to your van and to your customers businesses
- Familiarity with the Cotswold local areas for efficient deliveries would be helpful towards securing the role
