We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Café Manager to lead our team and help drive the continued success of our fast-growing business. Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of café staff, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Oversee food/ drink preparation to ensure high-quality items are served consistently.
- Manage stock control, ensuring that all menu items are available. Stock rotation, reporting of waste and general management of ordering is also an expectation.
- Implement and maintain food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations.
- Train new employees in cafe operations and customer service standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new drinks menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café environment.
- Work alongside the kitchen team, ensuring that a positive professional relationship is maintained at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or café setting.
- The ability to manage and mentor diverse teams, recognising individual strengths, and helping staff grow in confidence, skill, and productivity.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
- Experience in hospitality, ensuring an exceptional guest experience at all times.
- Barista experience is an advantage.
- Has the ability to be Proactive and use initiative, being able to anticipate needs and take action without being prompted—whether solving operational issues, improving customer experience, or seizing potential business opportunities.
- Skilled at utilising guidance, feedback, and resources from senior leadership to align team goals with broader business objectives.

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
