Being part of the Arcade team, entertaining children, is a rewarding position.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age due to legislation and be willing to undergo a DBS criminal record check.
The advertised role is currently seasonal and is for the summer holiday period starting in late June & ending around the middle of September.
Successful applicants will be reliable, polite, friendly, sensible, and able to work well as part of a team under pressure in a busy environment. Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferable but not essential as training will be given.
Duties include: You will be required to provide customer assistance. Keep the Arcades clean and tidy with moderate amounts of cleaning. Handle customer change and small amounts of cash accurately. You will receive training in minor maintenance tasks relating to arcade machines (changing light bulbs etc.). You will be required to help maintain a safe work environment working to an efficient, high standard and maintain good personal hygiene.
Hours will vary but are normally between 18-40 hours per week including weekends and holiday periods. Working 4 to 5 days a week in school holiday periods. Start times vary between 09am and 11am and finsih between 6pm and 8pmThe role can be good to fit around other commitments or between commencement of academic years.
