What You’ll Be Doing
As Nursery Manager, you will be:
- Responsible for the day-to-day running of the setting
- Inspire the team to deliver outstanding practice
- Lead on learning and development strategies for children and staff
- Champion our inclusive, outdoor-rich, child-led curriculum
- Build strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community
- Stay up to date with legislation and be a safeguarding champion across the setting
- Support children with ALN to ensure they all reach their full potential
What we’re looking for
A motivated, reflective leader with confidence, passion and purpose to deliver exceptional outcomes for children, families and staff.
You’ll need:
- A Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- 2+ years’ experience in a nursery setting, with previous leadership experience
- Strong understanding of the Non maintained Curriculum for Wales, safeguarding, ALN Code of practice in Wales and best practice
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills
- The ability to inspire, support and develop others
- A calm, flexible approach with a “solutions not problems” mind-set
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Pediatric First aid ( training can be provided)
- Safeguarding Group B ( training can be provided )
