Cleaning Operative Required - Drivers with own vehicle ONLY!
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial spaces at a single site.
Overview
Monday To Friday, 5pm to 6:30pm.
7.5 Hours per week, optional overtime available.
£12.85 per hour, paid monthly.
Drivers Only - This site DOES NOT have public transport or accessible footpaths.
All products, equipment, training, and uniform provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal spaces
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, floors are swept, vacuumed, and mopped, and waste is properly disposed of in accordance with health standards
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to create a secure environment for everyone on site
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls as needed
- Support team members during special cleaning projects or deep cleans to uphold cleanliness standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively
