B/alt. is a new bakery-alternative concept offering fresh breads, sweets, confites, toasted creations, artisan sandwiches, breakfast plates, coffee, matcha, and baked-in-house products. We mix classic bakery traditions with a modern café vibe. We’re building a team that cares about quality, consistency, and great customer experiences.
The Role
We’re hiring motivated, reliable team members to help open and run our brand-new bakery café. You’ll work across different areas depending on your strengths: bakery counter, barista station, food prep, sandwich line, and general customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve bakery items (breads, pastries, sweets, confites)
- Make sandwiches, toasts, and breakfast items following set recipes
- Operate coffee & matcha station (barista experience is a plus)
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and up to health standards
- Restock display units + rotate products
- Serve customers quickly, politely, and professionally
- Assist with opening/closing duties
- Support kitchen production as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a bakery, café, coffee shop, or food service setting (preferred, not required)
- Good communication + strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliability showing up on time isn’t optional
