About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Design Administrator to support architectural projects through accurate data entry, document management, scheduling, and general administration.
You will maintain project records, organise design documents, update spreadsheets, assist with correspondence, and support architects and project teams with routine administrative tasks.
Previous architectural experience is helpful but not essential. Training on company systems, project procedures, and basic industry terminology will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update project information in company systems
- Maintain project spreadsheets and design records
- Organise drawings, specifications, and supporting documents
- Create and maintain digital project folders
- Update client and consultant contact information
- Prepare routine letters, forms, and project documents
- Scan, upload, and archive design records
- Check documents for missing or incorrect information
- Assist with meeting and appointment scheduling
- Monitor project action lists and administrative deadlines
- Maintain drawing and document registers
- Prepare basic project reports and spreadsheets
- Support architects and designers with information requests
- Organise incoming project correspondence
- Maintain accurate client and project databases
- Handle project and client information confidentially
- Support general data-entry and office administration as required
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in administration, data entry, customer service, retail, or office support is helpful but not essential
- Applications from career starters and candidates changing industries are welcome
- Exposure to architecture, design, construction, or property is beneficial but not required
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer and keyboard skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Good organisation and time-management abilities

Education
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications are preferred
- A university degree is not required
- Qualifications or coursework in Business Administration, Architecture, Design, Construction, or a related subject are beneficial but not essential
- Relevant practical or transferable experience will be considered
Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
