Family run farm growing apples and pears - established c1949
Hand picking of apples & pears.
Temporary work available from approx 20th August through to early/mid October.
Work is done outdoors in all weathers and is hard, physical work so fitness and stamina are required. Suitable footwear and waterproof clothing is essential as is sun protection (hat and sunscreen).
Mondays to Fridays - 8 hours per day - 8am start. Part time workers will be considered depending on their hours of availability with a minimum of 16 hours per week.
Paid weekly, a week in arrears, into bank account.
£12.71 per hour.
Some additional evening and weekend hours may occasionally be available but are not guaranteed.
Limited space is available on the farm for self-sufficient campervanners - shared unisex WC and shower are provided but applicants must have their own sleeping, cooking facilities etc. If you are looking for a "pitch" on site please make this clear in your application, ideally either via a covering note or by messaging or calling us.
Please note there is no public transport near the farm and the nearest supermarket is approx 2 miles away.
