We are looking for a passionate and skilled Youth Participation Worker to support the delivery of the Liverpool City Region Youth Combined Authority (LCRYCA). We are looking for a qualified Youth Worker at Level 3 or above (equivalent qualifications will be considered) who has rich experience working with young people in participation and youth voice settings. You will be confident in facilitating inclusive youth voice sessions, using the Lundy Model of Participation, with a diverse group of young people across various platforms.
Due to the nature of the YCA, sessions will mainly be held online on a weekly basis but will also include a minimum of 3 face to face meetings per year.
You will assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new YCA members, support young people to shape discussions and influence local policy priorities and engage with senior leaders, including the Mayor and Combined Authority officers.
You will work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders across the City Region, ensuring all work is in line with safeguarding, equality and data protection standards. You will support the monitoring, evaluating and reporting of the project, and highlight positive impacts achieved.
You will complete admin tasks in an office environment, based in Huyton, Knowsley, but will also be expected to travel across the 6 council areas of the Liverpool City Region to establish and maintain partnership connections.
