The Opportunity
Are you tired of jumping from one short-term sub-contract to the next? Dukeries Roofing Services Ltd is a well-established, trusted roofing contractor based in Nottinghamshire. We are known for delivering premium workmanship across large-scale development projects, re-roofs, and consistent council contracts.
Due to a booming pipeline of continuous growth, we are looking for experienced Solo Roofers or 2-Man Roofing Gangs (1 x Roofer & 1 x Labourer) to join our team. We offer secure, consistent, year-round work (52 weeks a year) across the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. No seasonal winter drops—just reliable, well-managed sites.

The Role
Working across our major development and contract sites, you will be responsible for executing high-quality, weatherproof roof installations.
- Installation: Cut, fit, and install structural timber battening and a variety of roof tiling/slating systems on new builds and re-roof projects.
- Safety & Compliance: Work strictly to site health and safety regulations, ensuring all safety netting, scaffolding protocols, and risk assessments are respected.
- Pace & Precision: Work efficiently alongside your gang or team members to smash project deadlines without compromising on flawless attention to detail.
Requirements (Essential)
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ proven roofing experience (tiling and slating masterclasses).
- Compliance: A valid CSCS Card is mandatory for site access.
- Logistics: Full UK Driving Licence, your own reliable transport, and your own full set of roofing hand/power tools and PPE.
- Capability: Fully comfortable working at heights and managing physically demanding, manual trade tasks.
Highly Desirable (But Not Essential):
- Having an established 2-man gang ready to deploy immediately.
- Current health and safety tickets, including: Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, or Face Fit Testing.
