Permanent Staff Wanted – Join Our Team
We’re looking for a team member to join our busy wine bar and bottle shop in the heart of Fowey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves great drinks, enjoys working with people, and is keen to deepen their knowledge in a specialist retail environment. This is a permanent, year-round position with hours available throughout the winter.
(Full and part-time hours available. Pay dependent on experience.)
The role will include:
- Welcoming, serving, and advising customers with confidence and warmth
- Supporting sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Replenishing and merchandising stock
- Operating tills and assisting with cashing up
- Supporting our coffee counter and wine bar service
(Barista experience is a bonus, but not essential. Experience with wine service is highly desirable.)
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a professional, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
- Communicates confidently and enjoys selling
- Has a genuine interest in wine, spirits, and beer
- Is eager to learn and build their product knowledge
- Has previous drinks or hospitality experience (preferred)
- Holds WSET qualifications (advantageous, but not essential)

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
