Who we are:
Located in the heart if Suffolk, The Leaping Hare restaurant has been in the Good Food Guide for 25 consecutive years. We serve a blend of modern and traditional British and European dishes, made with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Our seven-acre vineyard produces our own award-winning wine that we serve exclusively in our restaurant.
About the role:
We are currently looking for a part time / full time Restaurant Supervisor to join the team at one of the region’s award-winning restaurants.
Expect to work shift patterns on Wednesdays through to Sundays with the occasional Monday or Tuesday required when private events are held. This will equate to a minimum of 35 hours each week.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is essential and further training will be provided.
As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be required to work with the other Supervisor and Restaurant Manager in the smooth running of the restaurant: recruitment, reservations, training and development of the team. You will always establish and maintain excellent guest relations, comply with safe working practices and work closely to meet the Kitchen’s needs. You will also be responsible for the day to day running and deputising in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a real passion for food and wine, posse's’ excellent organisational skills and should be able to work as part of a team. You must also be prepared to work in a busy environment but all the while, motivating and leading a team when on shift.
