Job description
We are looking for a engaging, courteous barista who is passionate about coffee. The barista will greet customers, answer any questions, take orders and accept payments, and prepare and serve food and drinks. They will maintain a clean and well stocked workspace and dining area.
To succeed in this role you should be committed to providing excellent customer service and should be positive, friendly and polite.
Responsibilities will include:
Welcoming customers, answering questions and accepting orders and payments.
Preparing foods such as sandwiches and baked goods, brewing coffee and tea and serving items to customers.
Packaging food and beverages for sale.
Selling coffee blends and equipment.
Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying waste and sanitizing equipment.
Replenishing displays both behind the counter and in the dining areas.
Working as part of a fun, relaxed, high energy team.
Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls as well as any changes to Covid 19 rules and regulations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.20-£13.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ripon HG4 1NZ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Barista : 1 year (preferred)
