Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Handle food safety procedures diligently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, including cleaning equipment and sanitising surfaces regularly.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately using the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests politely and professionally.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently throughout shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Basic food preparation skills are beneficial.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
