We are looking to recruit a Nursery Practitioner, with a relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification to work in our baby room. (Please note health and social care qualifications are not full and relevant to work in an early years setting). Key person and non key person roles available.
The nursery is open 'full year', we are closed on bank holidays and have a 2 week closure period at christmas.
The nursery is open Monday to Friday, between 8:00am - 5:00pm. Our nursery has play spaces for different ages, our Baby Room, Toddler Room, Early 3's and Pre School.
We are neighbours with Frances Bolitho Care Home and we run a successful intergenerational partnership where the children visit the residents in the care home. We also have 2 ducks who live in our duck garden where the children play alongside them, a pirate ship garden and a free flow courtyard garden too.

The successful applicant will:
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 or above, Early Years qualification (Desirable)
- Hold a full and relevant Level 2, Early Years qualification (Essential)
- Be highly motivated, creative and passionate about Early Years play and learning.
- Be approachable, friendly and able to communicate effectively at all times with children, their families and the staff team.
- Hold a knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety.
- Hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
