We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Conference & Event Supervisor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on delivering outstanding customer experiences and enjoys managing a variety of daytime events and supporting with corporate evening events in a distinctive venue.
The Role is a hands-on role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a wide range of events, with a particular focus on daytime meetings, conferences and corporate dinners.
You will work closely with clients from their arrival ensuring every booking runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.
Working alongside our kitchen and front-of-house teams, you'll oversee every detail, ensuring exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of meetings and conferences by planning, coordinating and delivering events, from room and furniture setup through to providing food and beverage service.
Coordinate with chefs, front-of-house teams and suppliers to ensure all aspects of each event are organised and delivered to a high standard.
Manage event logistics, room layouts, equipment requirements, timings and dietaries.
Complete event setup, service and breakdown, ensuring excellent customer service throughout.
Attend weekly events meetings.
Place orders and complete monthly stock counts
About You:
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative when working alone while collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth delivery of conferences and events.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience within hospitality.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Experience working within a fast-paced hospitality or events environment.
A flexible approach to working weekends as required.
