We're looking for an experienced property maintenance professional to join our growing team as a Property Maintenance Supervisor. Whether you're already supervising teams or you're ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied, hands-on role overseeing a team of multi-skilled operatives delivering everything from day-to-day property maintenance and repairs through to refurbishment and improvement projects. No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone with a broad construction background who enjoys leading teams, solving problems and delivering high-quality work.
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and to the high standards our clients expect.

The Role
Based from our Flimby branch, you'll supervise a team of multi-skilled operatives delivering a varied programme of property maintenance works across Cumbria.
The role includes overseeing a wide variety of property maintenance works, from day-to-day repairs and reactive maintenance through to refurbishment and improvement projects across our social housing and private residential contracts.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting a team of multi-skilled operatives.
- Managing multiple property maintenance projects from planning through to completion.
- Carrying out site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews.
- Coordinating labour, materials, subcontractors and resources.
- Supporting operatives with technical advice and problem solving.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on time and to a high standard.
- Liaising with clients, residents, suppliers and internal departments.
- Monitoring productivity, programme delivery and project performance.
- Managing project documentation, reports and compliance requirements.
- Promoting excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and contractual requirements.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Significant experience working within the property maintenance industry.
- A broad knowledge of construction methods and multi-trade property maintenance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to plan workloads, solve problems and make informed decisions.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of labour, materials and project delivery.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to lead by example.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We're equally keen to hear from experienced property maintenance professionals who are ready to take the next step into a supervisory role.
The Ideal Candidate
You'll have a strong background within the property maintenance industry and a broad understanding of construction trades.
You may already be working as a Supervisor or Contracts Supervisor, or you could be an experienced Multi-Trade Operative or Senior Tradesperson who's ready to take the next step in your career.
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys supporting others, takes pride in delivering quality work and can confidently organise people, projects and resources to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
Please Note
Experience within the property maintenance industry is essential. Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential, as we welcome applications from experienced property maintenance professionals who are ready to progress into their first supervisory role.
