About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shift Manager to join our takeaway team.
This is a hands-on role where you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the shift, while also helping ensure the store runs smoothly during busy periods.
You will work closely with the team to maintain good service, strong operations, and a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the shift
- Support the team during busy periods (including packing and front counter)
- Ensure orders are prepared and dispatched on time
- Help maintain good delivery times and service standards
- Assist with staff coordination during shifts
- Monitor stock levels and highlight any shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the store
- Help handle customer issues and ensure good service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a fast food or takeaway environment
- Experience supervising or running shifts in a busy setting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good spoken English for communication with staff, drivers, and customers
- Reliable, organised, and proactive
- Able to take responsibility and work independently during shifts
- Willing to be hands-on and support the team where needed
