Job Title: Handyperson

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: £21.00 - £24.00 per hour
We have an opportunity for a Handyperson to join a leading property maintenance, refurbishment, and retrofit specialist based in Essex.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out general maintenance works within tenanted properties, supporting responsive repairs and maintenance activities
- Completing general snagging and making-good works to ensure properties are finished to a high standard
- Undertaking painting and decorating works, including touch-ups and remedial painting following repairs
- Completing basic joinery and carpentry works, including repairing and replacing doors, windows, kitchens, and bathroom fittings
- Undertaking basic plumbing repairs, including repairing and replacing taps, basins, baths, shower trays, shower heads, and sanitary ware
- Performing minor patch plastering repairs to a high standard
- Maintaining clean, safe, and tidy work areas, including removing and disposing of waste materials from site
- Using a PDA/mobile device to receive, manage, and update job tickets accurately
- Following and adhering to all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Delivering an outstanding level of customer service while working within residents' homes
- Completing repairs efficiently and professionally, ensuring work meets quality standards and agreed timescales
