Bloom Manchester is hiring a full time Receptionist for a permanent, fully on site position in Manchester, working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with a starting salary of £26,500 per year. You will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, suppliers and callers, helping create a professional and welcoming experience from the moment they reach the office.
The role combines front of house responsibility with practical office administration and day to day business support. Previous receptionist experience is useful, but it is not essential if you have strong customer service, communication and organisational skills. We are also open to candidates from office administration, hospitality, hotels, retail, call centres, client services and other people facing environments who are ready to move into a professional office role.

- Assist with diary management, appointments and meeting coordination where required.
- Receive, sort and distribute post, deliveries and parcels, while arranging outgoing post, couriers and collections.
- Maintain visitor records and follow relevant office procedures, including handling confidential information appropriately.
- Support the wider team with office administration, document preparation, printing, scanning, filing and accurate data entry.
- Prepare and update documents, records and basic spreadsheets using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Order stationery, refreshments and everyday office supplies, helping monitor stock levels and keep essential items available.
- Provide general administrative support to managers and different departments during busy periods, helping the Manchester office run smoothly.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly telephone manner.

- Reliable and punctual, with a professional approach to work and the ability to maintain discretion when required.
- Able to work independently on routine responsibilities while also supporting a wider office team.
- Previous experience in reception, front of house, office support, administration, hospitality, retail, customer service or client service would be welcomed, but direct receptionist experience is not essential.
