Your Role
Your Role As an Account Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across key client accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and ensuring the successful delivery, commercial performance, and continued growth of the account portfolio. You will lead complex, high-profile workplace projects while collaborating with design, delivery, and business leadership teams to drive exceptional client outcomes and identify new business opportunities
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with executive-level client stakeholders, serving as a trusted strategic partner throughout the client lifecycle.
- Take ownership of the commercial performance of key accounts, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and pipeline development.
- Identify and secure opportunities for additional services and project work within existing client accounts.
- Partner with Studio Leaders and Practice Area Leaders to develop account growth strategies and long-term client engagement plans.
- Lead negotiations on project scope, fees, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers and junior team members, fostering professional development and high performance.
- Act as an escalation point for complex project, client, and commercial issues.
- Contribute to strategic business development initiatives, pitches, and pursuits for significant workplace opportunities.
- Champion best practice in project governance, risk management, resource planning, and client satisfaction.
- Work with the Design Director and the marketing team to ensure that the project story is documented and that photography/videography is arranged, as needed.
Your Qualifications
- Account or Design Management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Minimum of 10 years of Management experience is essential
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in all phases of interior design / architectural projects
- Experience managing consultant teams and resolving complex technical and design issues
- Proven ability to provide excellent client service and account leadership
- Be proactive and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong programming and space planning skills
- High level of design competence with knowledge of building codes.
- Proficiency in Revit desirable
