Orchard Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a national house builder on a major new build housing development in Hull.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for overseeing a large-scale 500-home development, working alongside an established construction team.
The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the development from a site management perspective.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site teams.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor progress and report back to the Project/Contracts Manager.
- Coordinate with NHBC, building control and other external stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety across the site.
- Manage site paperwork, RAMS, inspections and quality control.
- Ensure plots are progressing in line with the build programme.
- Drive productivity and maintain excellent standards throughout the development.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within new build housing is essential.
- Experience working on large-scale residential developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health & safety and quality requirements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS.
- First Aid.
