The Role: Associate Civil Engineer
A key leadership role within the infrastructure team, responsible for project delivery, technical oversight, and developing both client relationships and internal capabilities. This role is ideal for a senior engineer ready to step into strategic responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage infrastructure projects (drainage, highways, earthworks, external works).
- Provide technical oversight and ensure compliance with S38, S278, S104, SuDS, and local standards.
- Mentor and manage engineers/technicians; support resource planning.
- Act as a primary client contact—leading meetings and presenting solutions.
- Prepare fee proposals and support business development opportunities.
- Ensure projects meet quality, H&S, and commercial performance standards.
What You’ll Bring
- 7–10+ years’ infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong drainage, highways, and development infrastructure design capability.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Flow (MicroDrainage), and PDS/Site3D.
- Proven leadership, mentoring and client-facing experience.
- Chartered or working towards CEng (preferred).
- Strong commercial awareness and project management ability.
