The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of our office estate, communal facilities and residential properties.
The successful candidate will help ensure our commercial and residential buildings are maintained to an exceptionally high standard, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, preparing units for occupation, and helping deliver an outstanding experience for both tenants and residents.
No two days are the same, with work ranging from general repairs and preventative maintenance to supporting refurbishment projects and assisting with tenant move-ins and move-outs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across both commercial and residential properties.
- Complete general building repairs and maintenance.
- Undertake basic plumbing repairs including taps, toilets and minor leaks.
- Carry out basic electrical maintenance such as replacing light fittings and lamps (where appropriate).
- Decorating and making good following maintenance works.
- Minor carpentry repairs and adjustments.
- Assemble and install furniture, fixtures and fittings.
- Prepare office suites and residential apartments for new occupiers.
- Assist with office fit-outs and refurbishment projects.
- Maintain communal lounges, kitchens, corridors, WCs and external areas.
- Carry out routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from office tenants and residential occupiers.
- Liaise with specialist contractors and oversee works where required.
- Help maintain attractive landscaped gardens and communal grounds.
- Keep maintenance stores, workshops and equipment organised.
- Identify potential maintenance issues before they become larger problems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

- Has previous experience in property maintenance, facilities management or a similar multi-skilled role.

Desirable Skills
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

Relevant qualifications are welcomed but practical experience and a positive attitude are equally valued.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
