Lifeguard Part-Time (6 - 30hrs)
Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of others? Do you enjoy working in a dynamic and customer-focused environment? We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Lifeguards(Recreation Assistants) at The Weald Sports Centre.
Duties:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all swimmers in the designated area
- Monitor and enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and maintain order
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergency situations, providing first aid and CPR as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area and equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning
- Communicate with pool patrons, providing information, assistance, and guidance as needed
- Complete incident reports for any accidents or incidents that occur during your shift
- Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve lifeguarding skills
Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety techniques
- Current lifeguard certification, including first aid and CPR training
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with pool patrons of all ages
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail to identify potential hazards or rule violations
- Compliance management skills to enforce pool rules and regulations
Be able to work from a rota, including earlies (6am Starts) and lates (9:30pm) and some weekend work.

Pay: £10.52-£12.71 per hour
