Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders efficiently
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Ensure all drinks are prepared accurately and promptly, maintaining quality control
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Engage with guests to create a lively, friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or serving roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- A personable attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
