Duties
- Assist the Home Manager in coordinating all aspects of care delivery, ensuring resident needs are met with compassion and professionalism
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellent service
- Oversee the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s unique requirements
- Ensure medication administration is carried out accurately and safely in accordance with regulatory standards
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards across the home
- Lead on dementia and Alzheimer’s care initiatives, promoting meaningful activities that enhance residents’ well-being
- Support staff training and development to maintain high standards of nursing, senior care, and home care practices
Requirements
- Proven experience working in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care needs
- Demonstrable supervising or management experience within a care home setting
- Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care approaches and best practices
- Qualified in nursing or related healthcare fields with relevant certifications
- Experience in developing and managing care plans that prioritize resident safety and independence
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
