Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic logistics team working an early morning shift starting at 04:30am and finishing at 12:30, Monday-Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklift trucks safely and efficiently while supporting various warehouse functions. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth materials handling, accurate shipping and receiving, and effective inventory management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount. We offer a basic contract of 40 hours per week but we pride ourselves on paying our colleagues for all the hours they work.
Duties
- Safely operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately
- Report maintenance needs to ensure operational efficiency
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and organization
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
- Support warehouse operations through mechanical knowledge and basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts (certification needed) in a warehouse environment
- Be able to demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control (Not essential as training will be provided)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory and shipping purposes
- Prior warehouse experience demonstrating familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures
