Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control to minimise waste
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests
- Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety regulations
- Support junior kitchen staff as needed, providing guidance and training where appropriate
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and seasonal specials
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a busy kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A genuine passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer service
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
