We're passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while offering quality products at unbeatable prices. We're now looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our branch and drive its success.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the store. You'll lead and inspire your team to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve operational excellence, and maintain the highest standards of compliance and presentation.
You'll play a key role in creating a positive, engaging environment for both customers and colleagues while ensuring the store consistently performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales and Buying Assistants.
- Create a positive, high-performing culture focused on delivering excellent customer service and achieving business objectives.
- Lead by example and provide coaching, support and regular feedback.
Store Operations
- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the branch.
- Ensure all administration is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash handling, floats and reconciliations with exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintain outstanding store presentation in line with company standards.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every opportunity.
- Act as the first point of escalation for customer enquiries and complaints, resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
- Build lasting customer relationships through excellent service and product knowledge.
Performance & Compliance
- Monitor store and individual team performance.
- Ensure all colleagues comply with company policies, operational procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement in store standards and performance.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.
You will have:
- A minimum of 5 years' management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment, including leading and managing teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach and develop others.
- Confidence in handling difficult conversations and sensitive staffing matters professionally.
- Good knowledge of consumer electronics, particularly phones, laptops, tablets and gaming products.
- Proven experience managing retail administration, including cash handling, reconciliations and store processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong IT skills, including experience with retail systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Essential Requirement: Applicants must clearly evidence a minimum of five years' management experience within their CV or accompanying cover letter, including details of the specific management responsibilities undertaken in each relevant role.
Working Hours
- 5 days out of 6, including Saturdays
- 8:30am – 5:45pmThis is a full-time, long-term position. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer flexibility on the working days or hours.
Training
Comprehensive training will be provided covering all aspects of our business, including:
- Buying products
- Grading devices
- Testing electrical items
- Company systems and procedure
- You will receive your training at the company's Coventry City Centre store. The exact length of the training period has not yet been confirmed, so you must be able to travel to Coventry for as long as the training lasts.
