Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Conduct professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or aromatherapy massages.
- Assess clients’ physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are kept clean, hygienic, and well-maintained in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide advice on post-treatment care and recommend suitable self-care practices to clients.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow while ensuring personalised attention.
- Uphold confidentiality of client information at all times and adhere to professional standards of conduct.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Certification from a recognised massage therapy programme or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques and their appropriate application is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a calming environment for clients.
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments effectively and maintain accurate records.
