We are looking for a Creature TD who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent and passion for great filmmaking that define ILM.
Creature TDs are responsible for setting up and running flesh-surface, hair, cloth, rigid body simulations as well as being able to wrangle rigging and creature pipeline issues proficiently under the direction and guidance of their supervisors.

Creature TDs are responsible for setting up and running flesh, hair, cloth, rigid body simulations as well as being able to wrangle rigging and creature pipeline issues proficiently under the direction and guidance of their supervisors.
Simulate shots and sequences.
Create simulation setups for cloth, hair, and muscle.
Develop and maintain animation rigs.
Debug and troubleshoot rigs , simulation setups and shots.
Script utilities/tools/plug-ins in various software packages
Document and share workflows and work as part of a team
Experience in high-end VFX or animated features.
Experience with cloth/hair/flesh simulation in houdini and/or rigging in Maya.
Feature Film experience required.
Proficiency in Linux and Python scripting.
Experience in corrective sculpting and an understanding of anatomy.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills and a growth mindset.
Experience with C++, mel, VEX,Unreal or other 3d software an advantage.
