Warehouse Operative
Working Hours:
- Sunday - Thursday 18:00 - 03:30
- Contracted 45 hours per week.
- Daily unpaid 30-Minute break.
Pay:
£14.52 per hour
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Unloading and accurately locating tyres in the warehouse from deliveries received
- Accurate picking of tyres per those listed on the picking sheets, checking IPC codes where applicable to ensure accuracy
- Working at a level of efficiency required by the company as instructed by your supervisor
- Loading vans carefully and accurately per the packing sheets
- Performing stock checks to ensure stock accuracy
- Respectfully and safely using warehouse machinery where, and only if, you are authorised to do
- Adhering to company health and safety policies at all times
- Respecting, helping and encouraging your work colleagues
- Communicating shortages and stock discrepancies efficiently
- Keeping the warehouse and tyres in a clean and tidy state
- On rare occasions, and if you have the relevant licence, you may be required to do deliveries to customer and you will perform this willingly
- Ensuring you wear the correct personal protective equipment provided by the company at all times
- You will ensure you arrive promptly for the start of your shift and that you are dressed appropriately for warehouse work

Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience is advantageous but full training will be given

Experience:
- Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse: 2 years (required)
