Hanford Dental & Implant Centre – Stoke-on-Trent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly, experienced team of nurses and clinicians at Hanford Dental & Implant Centre.
As an independent, family-run, fully private practice, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, modern environment. We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and caring dental nurse who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is passionate about delivering an outstanding patient experience.
The practice is conveniently located just minutes from Junction 15 of the M6 and is equipped with digital technology including intraoral scanners, digital x-rays, OPG and CBCT imaging. We provide a wide range of treatments including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, Smilelign clear aligners, teeth whitening and other advanced restorative treatments.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. As well as providing chairside support across a range of treatments, you will:
- Assist clinicians during a variety of dental procedures, including implant and cosmetic treatments.
- Help patients understand their treatment plans and support them throughout their journey.
- Discuss private dental membership plans, implant treatments and Smilelign clear aligner options with patients.
- Maintain high standards of cross-infection control and surgery preparation.
- Carry out reception duties, including welcoming patients and assisting with appointments.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure every patient receives exceptional care.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Takes pride in providing outstanding patient care.
- Is organised, proactive and willing to learn.
Experience with implants, radiography or intraoral scanning would be an advantage but is not essential, as we encourage ongoing professional development. Good IT skills are a must. Experience with dental software 'Software of Excellence' (SOE) of benefit but not essential, as training will be provided.
