We’re now looking for a dedicated, organised and hard-working Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team.
Role Overview
As a Laundry Assistant, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the high standards our customers expect. You’ll be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, ironing and preparing linen and towels for use across a variety of properties. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in cleanliness, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold laundry to company standards
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Check all linen and towels for stains or damage and report any issues
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the laundry area
- Ensure correct labelling and storage of items ready for distribution
- Support the wider cleaning team as needed, especially during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of cleaning products and equipment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous laundry or cleaning experience is an advantage, but full training is provided
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Reliable, punctual and able to manage your time effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and peak holiday periods
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential
