The Recovery Administrator holds an essential role in developing strong relationships with our customers and takes on additional level of responsibility with the completion of service processes.
In this role, you'll act as the main contact for customers whose cars have been recovered in delivering an exceptional experience in accessing aftersales and workshop products and services. You'll lead the operations on the front desk, delegates tasks accordingly while assisting the Workshop Manager. You'll be based at our Portsmouth Can and Van store site, working in the office full-time.
As a Recovery Administrator, you'll:
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation and performance of the service and warranty function, helping the team achieve operational and financial targets;
- Assist the Workshop Manager with service processes and take ownership of key administrative and warranty activities;
- Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to enquiries, managing feedback, and resolving complaints to achieve positive outcomes.
- Accurately process, submit and monitor warranty claims in line with manufacturer and company requirements, ensuring records are maintained, compliant and audit-ready;
- Manage payment reconciliations, ledgers and outstanding claims, ensuring all documentation is processed and updated within required timescales;
- Identify opportunities to improve warranty processes and controls, proactively resolving issues and making recommendations to management;
- Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, company policies and manufacturer standards;
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, customers and manufacturer partners through professional and effective communication.
About You:
- Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and communication skills;
- Strong in use of Microsoft IT Packages including Microsoft and Outlook;
- A positive team player who can build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Administration experience working within the motor/automotive industry is essential.
