Assistant Manager – Vape Shop | Bath

We’re an established vape shop in Bath looking for a confident, reliable Assistant Manager to join our small team.
This isn’t a role where you’ll have someone looking over your shoulder all day. We’re a small team and you’ll often be running the shop independently, so we need someone we can trust to take ownership, make good decisions and keep everything running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing
- Opening and closing the shop as a trusted key holder
- Running the store confidently when working solo
- Delivering genuinely great customer service
- Helping customers find the right products
- Handling payments, tills and end-of-day cashing up
- Dealing confidently and professionally with returns and customer queries
- Keeping an eye on stock levels and ordering products
- Receiving deliveries and replenishing stock
- Keeping the shop clean, organised and looking its best
- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the business
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who is reliable, switched-on and comfortable taking responsibility.
Ideally, you’ll already have experience in retail as a Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Senior Sales Assistant or Key Holder.
You should be:
- Confident working on your own
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Great with customers
- Comfortable handling cash and cashing up
- Organised and able to stay on top of stock
- Able to use your initiative and solve problems
- Friendly, approachable and a strong communicator
- Happy being part of a small team
Vape industry or product knowledge would be a bonus, but it’s not essential if you’re willing to learn.
