Job Overview
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team! You will support the daily operations of our kitchen by assisting with food and meal preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Duties
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
- Follow food safety protocols rigorously, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation standards are upheld
- Help with inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and rotating supplies as needed
- Serve food to guests in accordance with service standards, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
