Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the production of our high-quality products.
Whilst the ideal candidate will be a motivated, diligent and have experience of a similar role preferably within the automotive industry, we are happy to consider any candidate with the right attitude towards the role.
This position offers the opportunity for the right person to learn the role through a supportive supervisory team, to quickly achieve the required standards.
Role responsibilities:
- To assemble all parts and sub-assemblies to the required production, delivery and quality standards.
- To manually load parts into production machines.
- To visually inspect finished parts to a quality specification.
- To complete and record quality and production checks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines efficiently.
- Follow detailed work instructions and documentation procedures to ensure consistency.
Specific skills and experience/knowledge required:
- Previous component assembly experience in a factory environment is of benefit.
- Manual handling experience.
- Good level of dexterity.
- Good level of numeracy and literacy.
Working hours - Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45; Friday 08:00 - 13:30. Should be able to cover shift patterns during periods of absence or holidays.
