Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Tutor to support students across various age groups and academic levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with children, including those requiring special education support. Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in subjects such as Maths, English, Science, or specialised areas based on student needs
- Develop customised lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and goals
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment to motivate students
- Assess student progress regularly and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding student development and areas for improvement
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate strategies and resources
- Encourage confidence and independence in learners through positive reinforcement
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with children in an educational setting
- Knowledge of specialised education techniques for students with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts and build rapport with students of all ages
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student requirements
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple sessions efficiently
